The Role of Associate General Counsel at Elior North America:

- Provide general legal support to the department and overall business
- Report directly to the Deputy General Counsel
- Responsible for addressing evolving legal responsibilities and providing best in class legal guidance
- Work with a collaborative and agile legal team
- Remote position based in the US

Key Responsibilities:

- Support business teams and functional departments with contract negotiations and drafting
- Manage and/or assist with Merger and Acquisition activity
- Manage internal licensing processes and procedures for liquor and tobacco licensing
- Assist with management of pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Assist with corporate governance matters
- Develop and maintain relationships with legal team, senior leadership, and business partners
- Stay up-to-date on legal developments and identify potential risks and opportunities
- Serve as a strategic and collaborative partner to the Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
- Member in good standing of any state bar
- Minimum of 8 years of law firm and/or in-house counsel experience
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
- Clear communicator with the ability to transform complex legal requirements into practical advice
- Knowledge or experience with litigation or litigation management preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Ability to travel up to 10%
