A law firm in Pomona, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to specialize in workers' compensation law. The Associate Attorney will primarily work in the field of workers' compensation, covering depositions WCAB hearings, reviewing AME/QME reports, and determining strategic next steps for cases.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation cases.
  • Attend and cover depositions and WCAB hearings.
  • Review AME/QME reports and determine strategic next steps for cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases.
  • Manage case files and documentation efficiently.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in California.
  • Prior experience or knowledge in workers' compensation law is preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and procedures (preferred).
