A law firm in Denver is actively seeking a qualified Mid-Level IP Technology Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on PTAB/IPR, patent litigation in district court, and/or ITC proceedings. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with a preference for some familiarity with source code. Strong academic credentials, excellent references, and current or eligibility for law practice licensure are essential.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to IP technology patent litigation matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings.
  • Handle patent litigation cases in district court and International Trade Commission (ITC) proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and execute effective case strategies.
  • Manage all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in PTAB/IPR, patent litigation in district court, and/or ITC proceedings.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Some familiarity with source code is preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong professional references.
  • Current licensure to practice law or eligibility to become licensed.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
