Duties:

  • Represent clients in tax controversy matters before administrative agencies and courts.
  • Handle civil and criminal tax cases, whistleblower claims, and voluntary offshore disclosures.
  • Provide legal advice on tax-related issues to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of complex tax issues.
  • Prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop case strategies.
  • Attend tax court hearings and proceedings.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) and LLM in Taxation are required.
  • Licensed to practice in the State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of tax litigation experience.
  • Tax court experience is mandatory.
  • Strong academic record and analytical skills.
