A law firm is seeking a Labor And Employment Associate Attorney in Seattle, WA, with the following responsibilities:

Job Overview: The Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will work closely with the office’s established team of litigators and robust client base and will have significant opportunities for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate with 1-7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting will be admitted to the Washington Bar. While preference is given to candidates with labor and employment experience, general civil litigation experience is also welcome. Strong legal research and writing skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client management.
  • Maintain client relationships and provide timely updates on case developments.
  • Stay current on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the Washington Bar.
  • 1-7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
  • Strong preference for labor and employment experience; general civil litigation experience is welcome.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
