Senior Counsel, Content Licensing and Media Transactions at VIZIO

Overview:
VIZIO is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Counsel to join our growing Platform+ Legal team. As a member of the legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and regulatory support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position is available in multiple locations including Irvine, California; Los Angeles, California; New York, New York; and Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities:
As Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of agreements, with a focus on app and content licensing. You will also advise on deals with content providers, media/entertainment companies, and streaming services. Additionally, you will support strategic initiatives and handle complex legal issues in a fast-paced and evolving technology-driven business environment.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a passion or curiosity for digital media and technology. You should also have 5-7+ years of transactional experience as an attorney and possess a Juris Doctorate from a . accredited law school. You must be licensed to practice law in the State of California or qualify to register as California in-house counsel. Direct experience in or exposure to AVOD/SVOD/TVOD licensing deals is also required. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple matters simultaneously, have a solid background in negotiating and drafting agreements, and possess exceptional attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Salary Information:
The minimum salary for this position is $164, in California, $170, in New York, and $156, in Colorado. The maximum salary for this position is $212, in California, $222, in New York, and $156, in Colorado. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
