Job Title: Restructuring Associate Attorney

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in bankruptcy court and at other legal proceedings.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on restructuring issues.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
  • Participate in negotiations and mediation related to restructuring cases.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of restructuring experience, including substantial in-court restructuring work.
  • Strong knowledge of bankruptcy law and procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Delaware.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Delaware Bar (required).
  • Additional certifications in bankruptcy law (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
