Position Summary:

- Seeking a senior tax professional with a minimum of 8 years of corporate tax experience to join our Private Equity Tax team in various locations across the East Region.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and the tax compliance process for investment partnerships.
- Responsibilities include providing tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients, training and mentoring junior team members, and leading client engagements.
- This role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and strong managerial experience with budgets, people, and projects.
- The successful candidate must also have demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, be a self-starter, and have the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- This position will require travel up to 25% of the time, based on the work and clients served.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns, and lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects.
- Train, mentor, and supervise Tax Consultants, Tax Seniors, and Tax Managers, and participate in the recruitment process.
- Act as the lead client contact on engagements and be involved in billing and profitability analysis, as well as marketplace eminence building and pursuits.

Qualifications:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- Minimum of 8 years of corporate tax experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong managerial experience with budgets, people, and projects.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work and clients served.
- One of the following accreditations obtained: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.

Salary Information:

- The wage range for this role takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
- A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,490 to $272,090.
