A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Atlanta, GA office. The candidate will primarily work on consumer and commercial collection matters, managing cases from inception to completion, reviewing court pleadings, and attending court hearings.

 

Duties:

  • Manage cases from inception to completion.
  • Review court pleadings.
  • Attend court hearings.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prioritize and manage a large caseload.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Juris Doctorate.
  • Previous experience in litigation, collection law preferred.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Georgia.
  • Multi-jurisdiction admission preferred, including Florida and/or California.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act preferred.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with Juris Doctorate.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the state of Georgia.
