Job Summary:
The Senior Trial Attorney position with Farmers Insurance is a remote opportunity that handles cases throughout the Los Angeles area. This position is responsible for representing clients in all assigned cases, providing guidance and training to other attorneys, and performing managerial and administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as an attorney, including civil jury trial experience, and must be a member in good standing of the State Bar in the state in which the position is located. Job Responsibilities:

Supervise cases and handle complex cases with severe injuries or damages.
Provide job-related guidance, supervision, and training to other attorneys.
Assist in managerial and administrative tasks as needed.
Keep supervisor informed of work and any issues encountered.
Consult with and provide opinions to the Claims Department on insurance policies and personal injury claims.
Functionally supervise attorneys assisting with specific cases.
Maintain and update litigation support systems.
Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and law school degree required.
Member in good standing of the State Bar in the state of the position.
Minimum of three years of experience as an attorney, including civil jury trial experience or equivalent.
Ability to handle cases of moderate to great exposure and complexity with minimal supervision.
Strong public speaking skills and ability to handle high case loads in confrontational situations.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel.
