San Diego office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior energy development attorney with 7 years of experience. The candidate will often interface with colleagues across offices and practice groups and spend time on telephone and video calls with clients. Will independently produce client-ready documents and will work with others on complex transactions. Should preferably have experience in energy transactions, project development, transactional and financing due diligence, project development, EPC contracts, supply agreements, and O&M. Experience in energy transactions, including project development (outlined above), is required. Should have experience advising clients regarding international trade restraints, including WROs [withheld restraint orders], AD/CVDs [anti-dumping/countervailing duties], and other import tariffs, and their impact on equipment procurement and other project development documents in the renewable energy sector. Must have an understanding of power purchase agreements and site control documents for distributed energy projects. Must have Membership in the California Bar.
