Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel for a wide range of corporate, commercial, privacy, and regulatory matters related to CP & ESG's TeamMate products and services
- Draft, negotiate, and manage various types of agreements, including customer agreements, vendor agreements, and strategic partnerships
- Keep business representatives and managing legal counsel informed of major legal developments
- Collaborate with other members of the Global Law and Compliance Department (GLCD) as needed
- Manage outside counsel efficiently and effectively
- Standardize processes, promote knowledge sharing, and utilize technology to automate tasks
- Develop a deep understanding of CP & ESG's business, markets, products, and regulatory environment
- Educate business teams on contract forms, best practices, risks, and internal review and approval procedures
- Support GLCD's M&A, regulatory, employment, and litigation teams regarding matters related to CP & ESG TeamMate
- Perform other assigned tasks as directed by leadership

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and . required
- Admitted to practice law in the state where assigned office is located
- 2-5 years of corporate/commercial legal experience
- Experience at a law firm and in-house preferred but not required
- Strong legal acumen and analytical skills
- Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
- Strong communication and change management abilities
