The firm founders/owners are kind and compassionate people who care about their employees and clients. They have created a firm that believes in providing Compassionate Counsel to their clients. Just a few of the core firm values include things like, Do the Right Thing, Make Quality Personal, Honor Commitments & Be Caring, Compassionate & Understanding. These are just some of the values we use to work amongst ourselves and with our clients. The culture is one of cooperation and respect. We work closely together, even when working remotely. Management is open to listening to ideas and suggestions and when possible, will execute ideas that appear to be in the firm's best interest. The firm plans regular opportunities for employees to meet and have fun both with & without their families. The firm provides affordable options for health insurance and an opportunity to fund a simple IRA with matching to all full-time employees. On a lighter note, the kitchen is stocked with many snacks and some staple items, like cereal, milk, yogurt, etc. The firm takes time to celebrate employee birthdays, milestones (weddings, births, etc.), employment anniversaries, etc. They hold regular Thanksgiving and December Holiday celebrations in each office, during working hours.
The firm is still working on putting SOP Procedure & Policy manuals in place for the Client Services Department. Sometimes communication is slow and questions go unanswered for longer than one would hope.
None at this time. The firm works hard to employ people who know how to work cooperatively to achieve common goals. In the past, there have been people in the firm not just partners) who were difficult to work with. However, that is no longer the case.
Management, the owners, and employees alike foster a sense of compassion and cooperation in the firm. Celebrations are frequent and fun. Managers are not at all micro-managing and only get involved when they really need to do so. They have faith in their teams to do their job. They understand that people are human and make errors. All they ask is that errors be fixed as quickly as possible! They care about work/life balance.

They are such a family orientated firm and treat you like family. You are so valued and appreciated in all that you do for the entire firm. Everyone works together to help each other. Your ideas an opinion matter and are often times implemented. This has been hands down the best law firm that I have ever worked for!

Salary and benefits are certainly comparable for the area. I feel validated in my position as well as my concerns. I am respected by my attorneys as well as management and the owners.

There needs to be more continuation on allowing the firm to grow and in return helping employees advance in their careers. The value of family is important and is something that makes the firm unique which is something the firm should continue to hold onto.
A law firm setting which has many capabilities for growth. The firm doesn't steer away from the focus of encompassing family.
The firm does not have any negative aspects to it as the firm has done a great job of caring for their employees and setting up an environment with the value placed on family.
Don't ask for input and then fire people who give you feedback.
I was able to grow with this firm, and it has come a long way. The firm treats everyone well. The environment is family oriented. I know I have the support I need here.
As it is a mid-sized firm, it can't pay as well as a larger one. There are too many cases for one attorney and not enough time for attorneys to focus on particular cases.
Keep doing what you're doing. We're all happy.
