You Should Not Dabble: To Succeed It’s All or Nothing

See reviews for Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley, P.C. from attorneys and other legal professionals below.
Google Reviews: Welborn is an excellent energy/oil and gas (drilling, marketing/trading, M&A, litigation, land and title work) law firm. Much better than Holland and Hart or similarly sized law firms in the western United States. They are exceptionally responsive and I always felt the rates were extremely competitive, especially for the high level of service I received.
Consider offering people a way to log their emails sent and hours for consideration of bonuses to make up for outside of work hours.
Everyone here is fairly paid and people seem to get along. The days go by quick and people aren't held late without overtime pay.
You will be expected to keep up with emails outside of work and you aren't paid that much to keep up with them.
This firm needs to stop being cheap and hiring unpaid interns to do their work. This makes the firm look unprofessional and sleazy and stresses out employees.
This firm is good when you start out because management works with you to fit your schedule. If you're a student and need to rearrange your schedule management can do that. They're very flexible and work with you to make sure your schedule is what you like.
This firm hires a lot of interns and the firm can feel like a bit of a zoo at times. Employees constantly wander around aimlessly with nothing to do and management doesn't seem to do anything about it. They just want the interns to do free work.
It would be great to have more spaces within and outside of the office to further boost morale for other staff. If this was more strongly encouraged, team dynamics could become healthier and more productive. I believe that if the firm invested more evenly in all members of the firm, not just the attorneys, there would be more transparency and higher morale for everyone.
Good work-life balance at this firm
I noticed that engaging with other parts of the firm, especially if you are not an attorney can be difficult. I felt that this could be improved for other staff members at the firm.
Thank you.
