Bredhoff & Kaiser (B&K) has a renowned legal practice in a broad range of matters affecting the rights and interests of employees, employee-benefit plans, labor organizations, and progressive not-for-profit organizations. Founded 70 years ago in Washington, DC, we are 27 lawyers and a dozen staff members with a shared commitment to empowering workers and the institutions that advocate for them.

B&K is seeking a Paralegal to support its growing employee benefits practice. This work will include reviewing qualified domestic relations orders and medical support orders; maintaining rules, procedures, and records for plans and exempt organizations; and preparing submissions to regulatory bodies regarding compliance with applicable laws, among a variety of other tasks.

Candidates should be motivated and engaged self-starters who have consistently demonstrated a strong attention to detail, advanced research, writing, and organizational skills, and fluency in Microsoft Suite (in particular, in Excel and Word). Successful candidates typically will have demonstrated a continued interest in employee benefits, human resources, or other related fields.  Will train right candidate.
