Available Positions Openings >> Attorney Development & CLE Coordinator Attorney Development & CLE Coordinator Summary Title: Attorney Development & CLE Coordinator ID: 1153 Department: Staff Location: Chicago, Illinois Description OVERVIEW The Attorney Development & CLE Coordinator is responsible for supporting all attorney professional development efforts and is responsible for accreditation of Hinshaw's programs, attorneys' compliance with state requirements, and tracking of CLE credits for all Hinshaw attorneys. The position reports to the Attorney Development & Training Manager, Director of Professional Development, and Director of Human Resources. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage professional development efforts including: Work with the Professional Development and the Training Committee to support Hinshaw University, including Basic Skills and the Trial Advocacy Programs. Responsible for supporting the production and broadcast software to provide training and CLE programs for Hinshaw attorneys firm-wide. Track and monitor attorney MCLE compliance using Reqwired, the Firm's MCLE tracking system and maintain records, reports, and files to ensure Hinshaw attorneys remain in good standing in all offices. Coordinate submission of CLE programs to MCLE Boards for approval. Coordinate and attend CLE programs in the Chicago office and off-site, when necessary, to monitor attendance and compliance with MCLE requirements. Interact with regional office managers and participants in Hinshaw University and practice group meetings on program logistics; email invitations and keep organized attendee list. Collect all evaluations following Hinshaw Univeristy and CLE programs. Prepare accreditation material to apply for accredited provider status and generate certificates of attendance for Hinshaw attorneys, clients, and alumni attending CLE programs in all relevant jurisdictions. Also, must be proactive in seeking accredited provider status as well as seek accreditation of individual programs as needed in jurisdictions where the firm has offices. Maintain complete and organized MCLE program files, including written materials, timed agendas, attendance and evaluation forms, etc. Update related calendars and spreadsheets for Hinshaw University programming. Stay abreast of MCLE rule changes and other related developments. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Two to five years of development and CLE experience. College degree in a relevant field of study required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with attorneys and staff. Detail oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills. Quick thinker and problem solver with ability to maintain composure under pressure. A demonstrated ability and strong desire to work as part of a team in a demanding, collegial, client-centered legal services environment. Computer skills including database management of Reqwired, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes. Experience in maintaining CLE databases. Must have experience with carrying out CLE programs that involve in-person, webcast, teleconference, and videoconference platforms. Knowledge of IL's MCLE portal, PCAM Knowledge of CLE rules and requirements.
