Advice to law firm management: Having a high turn around of Administrative assistants is not a good look, maybe the firm needs to look at the bigger picture to determine who the problem really is. Being an attorney does not make you better than anyone, especially if the current staff are speaking poorly of you. The actions of 1 attorney will start affecting the firm, because it can take 1 person to finally speak up of how they were treated. Maybe she needs to be a little more humble, like the other attorneys. Be more polite, respectful and be their for the employees when in need of help.
Pros: They are other amazing attorneys and staff to work for and with. The legal assistant in tue estate planning department is amazing. The Hr will work with you when time is needed to be off, and have other incentives they give, which is a bonus.
Cons: Krista Look, is very unprofessional and has treated the assistants poorly. Other employees have said, Krista is not very nice. She has made an hostile working environment. I have heard many stories of assistants quiting because she is very difficult. She lacks communication and runs to her farther when there is an issue instead of trying to fix the problem or issue herself. The pay is very low for an entry position fine, but getting treated and looked at like you arw dumb is not worth 13.00 an hour.
Partners to Avoid and Why: The partners to avoid if you want to work here are Harley Look, jr and especially Krista Look. They do act like you are suppose to know everything when it's an entry level position but they are not willing to help.
Favorite Things About this Firm: Amazing staff in other departments and the young girl who trained me and is now a legal assistant is easy to work with. She has a great attitude. Mr. Katz, Mrs. Kats and their son Seth are also great people but they have an attorney who is not so great.
