Shut it down

Location

Extreme micromanagement and extreme bias against non-Jewish clients. Adam Dayan will also hold your paycheck hostage unless you give him what he wants--which is very illegal.

You've got to trust people to do the work you ask of them, and not constantly put pressure on them. Treat your staff with respect and dignity, the way you'd like to be treated. And pay them what you promise to pay, and not hold their paychecks hostage until they agree to the terms you make up as you go along.

Remote position

The head of the firm insisted on a line by line breakdown of every function accomplished so he can go through it and argue that it "couldn't possibly take that long" to do. Then he will ask you to change the time and will not issue a check until you do. He adjusted every invoice I submitted downward and paid me what he wanted to pay. Every invoice was a one-sided negotiation and I never got paid for all the hours I put in; and I worked far more than what he paid me. I also used my own money to buy supplies because he wouldn't make his office credit card available, and I was reimbursed after my bills came in because he took his time about that, too. Not a nice place, the expectations are high, and the demands many. You can never do enough and what you do accomplish, is not appreciated. I've been in the business of lawyer marketing for more than 30 years and I never had anyone rip me off like this.

My short time at this firm was nothing but horrible

Extreme micromanagement, ridiculous expectations, mean management. This is an extremely stressful work environment, where you are expected to work overtime every day in order to finish all assigned tasks. The pay is extremely low and does not match the hours put in. Coworkers are pitted against each other.

Fair pay and better treatment

Nice coworkers, not including management

Over the course of two months, three employees quit, and two were fired. This firm has been around since 2009, yet the longest employed employee has been there for three years. Paralegals and support staff do not stay longer than 1 to 2 years. Employees are expected to do work above their pay grade, and management is terrible. There are not enough hours in the day to complete work. Overtime is required every day. It is a fast paced and chaotic environment due to micromanagement, and lack of support staff. The job was advertised in a completely different way. The duties were clear, it was stated that there are generous benefits (these are non-existent) and the firm was described as being a work place family, which is not the case at all, as there is a lot of bullying and disrespect from management.
