Work on improving management and reward employees for their efforts.
The firm practices in a variety of areas. The environment is creative and professional. I enjoyed the work and people.
There are some problems with management at the firm. Expect to put in a lot of hours. There is not a lot of room for advancement.

I'd like to see this firm hire some more staff members to help us out while we are busy on cases. I'd also like to see this firm take on more diverse cases.
I worked here for a brief amount of time as an intern and received plenty of help whenever I needed it. I also found the location of the firm to be very convenient as well.
Work can be quite a bit tedious and times and it seemed as though there was a shortage of front desk staff while I was there.
Coppersmith Brockelman: A Thrilling Journey for Attorneys and Staff In the vast landscape of law firms, Coppersmith Brockelman stands out as a beacon of excitement and opportunity. Founded in 1995 by Sam Coppersmith and Andy Gordon, this firm has carved a unique path, attracting attorneys and staff who seek a dynamic and fulfilling career. The story of Coppersmith Brockelman began when Sam and Andy found themselves at a crossroads in their professional lives. Sam had just completed a term as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, while Andy had served as his chief of staff. Their shared experiences had forged a bond that transcended words, allowing them to anticipate each other's thoughts effortlessly. Driven by their shared vision, Sam and Andy set out to build a firm that would embody their values and aspirations. They sought out intelligent lawyers who possessed not only a thirst for knowledge but also the ability to collaborate effectively, a sense of humor, and a genuine concern for others. These qualities formed the bedrock of the firm's culture, mirroring the camaraderie they had experienced in their congressional office. Rather than returning to their previous positions at prominent Phoenix law firms, Sam and Andy chose to embark on an audacious adventure. Inspired by their stay at the Circle Z Ranch in Patagonia, Andy crafted a business plan that outlined the firm's trajectory. Over a drink, they pondered the number of hours they would need to work each year to sustain their venture. With a mix of determination and optimism, they launched Coppersmith Brockelman from the spare bedroom of Sam's house, which had also served as his campaign office. As the firm evolved, so did its size and scope. The team expanded, attracting talented attorneys who shared the same intellectual curiosity and commitment to collaboration. The services offered by Coppersmith Brockelman broadened, allowing the firm to cater to a diverse range of clients. The spare bedroom was left behind, replaced by a professional space that fostered creativity and innovation. However, the journey was not without its twists and turns. The firm's original name, Coppersmith Gordon, underwent several changes. When Andy returned to Washington, D.C., to serve as an advisor to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, his name was respectfully removed. Despite these alterations, the spirit of Coppersmith Brockelman remained intact, fueled by a passion for excellence and a dedication to serving others. Joining Coppersmith Brockelman opens a world of possibilities for attorneys and staff. The firm's commitment to intellectual curiosity ensures that every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. Collaborating with like-minded individuals fosters a sense of camaraderie that transcends the boundaries of the workplace. The firm's emphasis on humor injects a dose of levity into the often demanding world of law, creating an environment that is both stimulating and enjoyable. Moreover, Coppersmith Brockelman places a strong emphasis on putting the needs of others before personal interests. This selfless approach not only benefits clients but also creates a supportive and nurturing atmosphere within the firm. Attorneys and staff are encouraged to develop their skills, pursue their passions, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those they serve. In conclusion, Coppersmith Brockelman is a firm that thrives on the excitement and energy of its attorneys and staff. From its humble beginnings in Sam's spare bedroom to its current status as a respected institution, the firm has remained true to its core values. Joining Coppersmith Brockelman means embarking on a thrilling journey, where intellectual curiosity, collaboration, humor, and a genuine concern for others converge to create a fulfilling and rewarding career.
