Herbert Smith Freehills LLP Reviews

- Reviewed on August 18, 2017

Advice to law firm management: Sometimes I felt that there needed to be a little more of a balance between home and work life. I don't mind working hard for the firm, but I don't feel I need to sacrifice my family for it.

Pros: The work here is always steady and the pay is top notch. I love the people that I get to work with. Everyone is so agreeable.

Cons: There is a lot of work to do and you will stay busy. This is not a place for anyone who is afraid to work to be.

Summer associate program

Each year, we host a summer associate program in our New York office for US law students seeking to gain exposure to all aspects of our disputes practice.

We offer an opportunity that is well-suited to US-qualified attorneys seeking to develop complex litigation experience while, at the same time, gaining exposure to the practices of international arbitration and investigations and financial services litigation. Each of these practice areas offers significant cross-border exposure.

Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing has the most listings of any job board I have used. It's actually a great site. The website had a lot of detail. It’s nice that you don't have to go through a recruiter if you don't want to. You can actually contact the law firm directly for the positions listed. LawCrossing had a ton of great features.
