Don't have any advice, won't even waste my time on it anymore.
The HR Director is great and will always look out for her employees.
No training, senior staff blames mistakes or oversights on new employees, when senior staff agrees to help train new employees they just take the work and does it on their own while new employee is away from desk, Partner will cut your hours, decreasing your agreed upon salary and blame it on said "budget". You will be called all types of negative names purposely so you hear Partners and Senior staff speaking negatively about you, when new employee goes to superiors about said behaviors, new employee then gets called into a meeting, pointing out mistakes said new employee never made in front of HR Director, new employees are not allowed firm laptops to work from home, yet, certain senior staff members have 2 at home. Bottom line, if you want to go back to high school the Chicago Office is a perfect fit!
I will not name the Partners individually, but, they avoid new employees.
If you make it to senior staff you're allowed one day a week to work remotely. However, a certain senior staff is barely in the office one day a week.
Managers here need to encourage more team effort if they want to continue onward with this firm. Nothing good will come from people working in an unhappy environment.
The benefits are not bad at all here. At the end of the year, we see a bonus and have the annual Christmas party. The firm provided us with ongoing educational events.
People here seem cold and impersonal. The atmosphere made me feel uncomfortable when I had to ask questions or report with a problem.
Thank you.
