I feel we're understaffed quite often. I find myself seeking help, but when every partner has their own work to do, it's hard to get the help we need. More paralegals may help quite a bit.
There are not many firms around that give you such potential to gain experience and knowledge about the ins and outs of litigation. There's a pretty high volume and a lot of exciting cases to work on. There's a lot of variety that requires reading up new things and this keeps what you learned in law school fresh in your mind.
The high volume and lack of attorneys makes it very stressful. I feel I'm always multitasking and don't get much of a break. There's always stuff to do. There's never a dull moment, and sometimes I find myself yearning for some sort of break.
