People kind of think they can get away with otherwise unacceptable behavior because they aren't working at a mainland European location, when really, if they work at the firm's headquarters, they should be held to even higher ethical standards. Make sure to really emphasize this in training. Some inter-office banter is unavoidable, but people should not cross certain lines.
Somewhat above average benefits. The head office is definitely one of the largest local firms - it's a desirable place to work for ambitious local people, and it is in a nice area, though the office is a bit out of date.
Too much inter-office politics and interpersonal social "games" for my liking. Some of the worst offenders were also aggressive and unprofessional in other capacities as well. Lax local laws seemed to empower and encourage this type of behavior.
