Herrick, Feinstein LLP was founded in 1928 by Abraham Herrick and Abraham Feinstein -- two young lawyers guided by entrepreneurial spirit and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law. Originally established in Brooklyn across the street from the New York Supreme Court, the firm moved to Manhattan -- and subsequently expanded to include full-service offices in Newark and Princeton, New Jersey. In the fall of 2013 we significantly expanded our ability to serve clients by opening our fourth and fifth offices in Washington, D.C. and Istanbul, Turkey, the latter being our first international office. Today, we provide a full range of legal services to businesses and individuals around the world -- including art law, bankruptcy and business reorganization, commercial litigation, corporate law, employment law, government relations, insurance, intellectual property, real estate, sports law, and tax and personal planning. Our skilled team of legal professionals and staff are committed to providing you with top-tier legal service. We are committed to your success.

At Herrick, we strive to provide a challenging, dynamic and enjoyable experience for our summer associates. It is our goal to present a realistic snapshot of life as a junior associate. We offer a balance of challenging assignments and social events designed to maximize the interaction between our summer associates and our attorneys in both business and informal settings.
Summer associates often have significant responsibilities on projects and have the opportunity to attend hearings, depositions, closings and client meetings.
Our summer associate program hosts law students with a strong work ethic who are striving to find a home rather than just a first job. Herrick's summer associates are generally in the top of their class and have a demonstrated ability in legal analysis and writing through participation on Law Review, journals, moot court or similar activities.
