Jennings, Strouss & Salmon Reviews

- Reviewed on July 21, 2017

Advice to law firm management: This opportunity represents a mixed bag, as you will find it hard to stay on task if you can't get enough rest. But there is also a lot to like about this opportunity.

Pros: You can make a lot of strong professional contacts here. There is also more than enough to learn about the law once you start working. You will make a pretty good salary, too.

Cons: Keep an eye out for burn out at this firm. Attorneys who can't manage sixty-plus hour weeks will not do well here. You have to have a completely clear schedule that is free of other commitments.

Jennings Strouss continues to promote diversity by recruiting and retaining highly qualified individuals who represent diversity of opinion, personal experience and demographics. Our goal is to maintain and nurture this diversity in an environment that fosters excellence, achievement, and advancement of all qualified individuals regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, disability, religion, or position with the firm.

We retain excellent lawyers through regularly evaluating our recruiting focus, techniques, and strategies. Our recruiting committee continues to target lateral candidates and students with diverse backgrounds and interests from law schools around the country, including those with significant minority enrollments. The committee also is working on an outreach campaign to minority student organizations at various law schools around the country. Other demonstrations of our commitment to diversity are our continuing sponsorship of a law student in the annual Minority Writing Internship Program in coordination with the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, the blueprint of which was created by our firm many years ago, the firm's support of the Black Board of Director's Project and our continuing sponsorship of the Minority Bar Convention and NBA Diversity Pipeline Program.

Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing is fantastic! When I am looking for a job, it is the first place I come to. The service is very good and I enjoyed the emails. LawCrossing has more jobs and it is more tailored. Other sites gave a lot of irrelevant results. Your site may have a great algorithm, but it felt like an actual person choosing jobs they felt would be good based on my search. I will always recommend this site!
