Pro bono

O'Melveny takes pride in channeling the creativity as well as the passion of its lawyers towards pro bono efforts. It takes great interest in working for the poor as well as defenseless individuals in the local communities and societies in the United States.

The pro bono program focuses on contemporary issues and other matters that cause a direct or indirect impact on the functioning of a community or its constituents. Some of the immediate matters of immediate concern that arouses the firm's passionate as well as zealous intentions to represent the community for the betterment of society are matters such as immigration, housing, disaster relief, civil rights, community building amongst others.

O'Melveny does not differentiate between pro bono representation and the representation of a long-term corporate or business client. The firm's lawyers are encouraged to pick up pro bono opportunities in a creative as well an entrepreneurial spirit.
