McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC Reviews

Advice to law firm management: Hold attorneys to higher ethical standards. I don't care how much money they make the firm, they're despicable people. The firm is highly morally corrupt.

Pros: Toxic environment. Attorneys harass staff, sexually and otherwise. Attorneys are treated as if they are Gods. Attorneys with drinking and drug problems are kept while staff are let go for working to many hours. This place is topsy-turvy and toxic to the soul.

Cons: Hateful, disgusting attorneys who treat their staff worse than gum stuck on their shoes. Sexual harassment. Verbal harassment inside and outside of the office. Attorneys who are belligerent.

Partners to Avoid and Why: The partners mainly. They are self-righteous pricks who sleep with younger associate attorneys and harass secretaries. They are the ones who make the most money for they won't be fired. Someone needs to clean house

Favorite Things About this Firm: Being in downtown Harrisburg. Walking on the river. Paid parking. Annual bonus. After hours parties. Working downtown near restaurants and bars.

Advice to law firm management: Too late to fix the people there now. Start over. Create a review board and hold the bad apples accountable.

Pros: The firm has many skeletons in their closet (embezzlement, sexual harassment, malpractice). Double standards, one set for attorneys and another set for staff. Work place sex, infidelity and adultry. Water cooler gossip about clients and staff. No confidentially. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Backstab to get ahead. Terrible place to work.

Cons: Bad management exerts pressure to meet bollable quotas. Rain makers act like gods. Rules don’t apply to timekeepers. Sexual harrassment and misconduct. Managers sleeping with staff.

Partners to Avoid and Why: All Practice Group Chairs are egotistical and arrogant. Female attorneys can sleep their way to the top. Male associates are treated like whipping boys.

Favorite Things About this Firm: Lunch left overs, Christmas bonus, sell back unused time off, illicit sex, goid hossip, spiders everywhere. Free legal advice. River side.
