Advice to law firm management:
The firm can improve by increasing diversity on its staff and by increasing focus on more lucrative practice areas.
Pros:
To succeed at this firm you will have to put your best professionalism foot forward. That means paying attention to the ethical rules and treating other attorneys with respect. This firm does not tolerate unprofessional behavior by its staff. Many attorneys can appreciate this.
Cons:
You may have to work in a department you're not fond of at this firm. They have openings in certain high volume departments, but these may not be to your liking if you are used to billing lucrative clients.

Advice to law firm management:
Too late to fix the people there now. Start over. Create a review board and hold the bad apples accountable.
Pros:
The firm has many skeletons in their closet (embezzlement, sexual harassment, malpractice). Double standards, one set for attorneys and another set for staff. Work place sex, infidelity and adultry. Water cooler gossip about clients and staff. No confidentially. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Backstab to get ahead. Terrible place to work.
Cons:
Bad management exerts pressure to meet bollable quotas. Rain makers act like gods. Rules don’t apply to timekeepers. Sexual harrassment and misconduct. Managers sleeping with staff.

All Practice Group Chairs are egotistical and arrogant. Female attorneys can sleep their way to the top. Male associates are treated like whipping boys.
