Get rid of Marcee. Best move you could make.
If I could give this crappy place 0 stars, I would. I was so excited going on a new adventure. My first day I was told I wasn’t their first choice, and they were sorry they missed their chance to hire the other girl. Marcee Thompson is the most toxic high paid employee in the business office. After my first week there, she went out on medical leave and came back pissed off because I figured out the difficult job without her, being gone for weeks. They kept me for almost 5 years, and then laid me off. No notice, I cleaned out my office that afternoon with someone sitting in my office to make sure I didn’t steal a stapler. Petty, irrelevant law firm that people think is so prestigious. Not so much. They also let go a friend of mine after like 13 years of service because they found a way to do her job without having to pay someone. Carmen Santa Maria was my favorite attorney. Didn’t ever look down at me for being a lowly electronic billing coordinator.
