I would improve mentoring for new associates. I think this would help new associates succeed in the firm. It would help keep new blood in the firm and it not becoming so senior associate heavy.
The environment is very supportive and the support staff is good. The paralegals are on top of the game as well as the billing department. The senior associates are very helpful. The firm is a challenging place to work but it has a lot of room for advancement.
I think mentoring could be better. It is a challenging firm and for a new associate it can seem overwhelming. I have seen this leading to some seemingly good junior associates floundering. Otherwise it is a good firm to work for.
