Advice to law firm management:
Management should communicate better with employees on how to become promoted within the organization. I recommend some sort of developmental plan or flow chart.
Pros:
My co-workers are very professional and highly intelligent. I also work on very interesting cases.
Cons:
I have been with the firm a little bit over three years and I have not been able to advance. I have asked the manager how I could improve my chances but there has not been any sufficient communication.

Develop a way for people to take on more cases and be able to grow the firm's size, as it already has such a great reputation. Re-invest in your people and not more places for them to work.
Pros:
You can learn a great deal about financial law with ZEK. They work with big companies on very complex cases, so you can gain expertise at the highest levels. They also have a great litigation division that you can learn from if you like trial law.
Cons:
The firm is a smaller to mid-size firm without much room to advance, even with opening a couple of new offices. They don't pay as well as some of the bigger firms in New York.
