Haug Partners Reviews

- Reviewed on July 28, 2017

Advice to law firm management: The firm should improve its diversity rating. The firm should also tone down its expectations of associates, as they seem unrealistic. Many associates are new to the practice of law and will need a few years to establish themselves.

Pros: You will become a natural at picking up much of the nuances of business law. This is no small feat. At Frommer Lawrence, you are expected to become an expert, so you will become one.

Cons: The firm expects perfection from you. Do not make errors. This means you will need to show up for late, after-hours sessions at the office, no matter what.

Diversity

At Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP (FLH), we value diversity and view it as a core principle. As lawyers and advisors, we rely on the intellectual capital of our professionals. Having a diverse pool of intellectual capital gives FLH a breadth of ideas and opportunities to tackle our clients' needs. FLH's inclusion principle not only embraces considering different viewpoints, but also makes sure those perspectives are valued. We firmly believe that expanding our collaborative, inclusive, diverse environment will help us further succeed and grow because we will be relying on the collective talents, differences, and experiences of our professionals. Our ongoing commitment to hiring and retaining a diverse, creative, ethical workforce provides a competitive advantage to the clients we serve.

Summer associate program

Frommer Lawrence & Haug's summer associate program is a 10-week long snapshot of life as an FLH associate. Throughout the program, significant emphasis is placed on training and real-world experiences as an intellectual property attorney. Our primary goal is to introduce our summers to the rigorous and exciting working environment of FLH, including the demands of our clients and the challenges of practicing in a fast-paced and evolving area of law. Since many of our summers go on to join FLH as associates, we strive to prepare them fully for the experience ahead, developing both their knowledge and skill set towards successfully entering the world of IP law.
