Improving communication would be the biggest thing that needs work. Let your associates know what is going on within the firm so that we can do our jobs correctly.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The work/life balance here is very good and the office environment is conducive to getting things done. Support staff is well trained and everyone seems very willing to help out if needed.
What did you not like about this institution?
Communication from management seems to have hit a brick wall. Nobody can ever quite decide what direction to take the firm in, and important information is always revealed at the very last minute.

Autonomy, no issue if hours not met, work from home, and comp lock step with hours bonus

Everyone is out for themselves, comp below market, firm is cheap management nickel and dimes attorneys, no transparency, management only cares about themselves and their clients, the good attorneys either left or appear to be leaving, firm contracting attorney numbers blostered by retirees and contract attorneys and there is no growth strategy.
