Turner Padget Graham and Laney P.A. Reviews

- Reviewed on September 09, 2017

Advice to law firm management: I think they need to send some of the older lawyers and staff to a seminar or two about joining the law community in 2017, since a lot of their ways are stuck in the Fifties.

Pros: Turner Padget is a firm that specializes in South Carolina law cases, so they have a lot of loyal clients built up over their long history. The firm is doing well and is attracting good new lawyers and a relatively steady flow of clients. There is good collaboration and teamwork between the various divisions and five offices throughout the state.

Cons: Padget Graham has been around since 1930 and is really set in some of the old ways of practicing law. They're still growing into learning about all of the newer structures and approaches to modern law, and innovative styles and approaches don't fare well with them.

Turner Padget is a South Carolina law firm - not a national or regional law firm with a South Carolina office - and there is a difference. With deep local roots stretching back to 1929 and an understanding of the legal and business environment in the state, we are dedicated to serving the needs of businesses and individuals both inside and outside of South Carolina. With attorneys practicing in five locations throughout the state, Turner Padget’s attorneys have their fingers on the pulse of each region’s business climate, legal trends and local nuances. Our attorneys serve the myriad needs of South Carolina’s business community, both as general counsel and as local counsel. Our widely recognized litigation team is well-known for its skill set, including its attorneys’ extensive first-chair experience. Not only are they prepared to represent our clients effectively in the courtroom, but they also have the depth of experience necessary to counsel clients regarding alternate strategies, such as managing risk to avoid the courtroom altogether.
