Salary & Benefits
Sullivan & Cromwell pays associates of every graduating class at the top of the market. The starting salary is $160,000. All offices in the United States have the same pay scale. Salaries and bonuses at the firm are based on a set lockstep system. In December 2011, the firm awarded year-end bonuses that matched the 2011 Cravath bonus scale, but with eighth-year associates and up receiving $42,500. Bonuses are typically awarded in December of each year.
