Bass, Berry & Sims is committed to developing our attorneys both professionally and personally. As a part of that commitment, our firm offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a wellness initiatives program.

The current entry level salary for associates is $110,000 per year in our Tennessee offices and $160,000 per year in our Washington, D.C. office. We reimburse for pre-approved relocation and bar-related expenses, and provide an annual stipend of $500 for professional association membership fees.

Other benefits include continuing legal education, medical insurance with the option of a health savings account, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, an employee assistance program, vacation leave, parental leave for primary and non-primary caregivers upon the birth or adoption of a child, and participation in the 401(k) savings plan on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing was probably the best legal board I have used. I liked the layout and it was user friendly. I tried to use another job board, but it was not user friendly and was kind of a pain, whereas LawCrossing was easy to use to find jobs. I really liked it.
