Management should get on the ball and hire more employees (attorneys). I feel as though this firm could be very successful if they had more hands to help out around the office.
I worked here as an intern and enjoyed the fact that everyone was very helpful from the start and I was always well accommodated.
I felt as though there were not enough attorneys while I was working here which led to a few of my coworkers at the time having to do more work than they could handle.
Treat all the lower level employees as well as you treat the partners and high level attorneys. Be fairer and distribute the wealth and work more equitably.
The people are great at this firm. The compensation for your work is very high and they have a very good benefits package for employees.
The work-life balance changes the higher you get in the firm and not for the better I'm afraid. You really have to put in long hours to move to the upper levels here. Pay is poor at lower levels.
If you want to make partner, you should consider looking elsewhere. This firm may not be the ideal fit for you if you want to be a partner in five years or less.
There is plenty of work to go around at this firm so you won't be left wondering whether you have a job. You will enjoy the decent benefits packages as well. This firm does not pay minimum wage to associates.
It's possible that the workplace culture at this firm is not ideal. Several associates have left before making partner, which is curious. The firm may require too much time and work before allowing additional partners into the fold.
Thank you.
