					<p class="small">The summer associate experience differs slightly from office to office, it's designed to simulate the experience of a new lawyer beginning his or her career with Andrews Kurth.<BR><BR>We provide opportunities for law students to explore our firm and the reality of a law practice.  The program also allows us to meet and work with prospective candidates.  In the process, we introduce some summer amusements for everyone to enjoy.<BR><BR>Summer associates may divide their experience between two practice areas selected according to the associates' interests and our hiring needs.<BR><BR>Designated partner and associate sponsors are responsible for assigning and evaluating the associate's work projects. Additionally, each associate has the opportunity to work with other lawyers in his or her practice area. Summer associates are involved in client meetings, negotiations, drafting sessions, depositions, trials and closings. </p>
