Junior Associate Attorney
The candidate duties include: Attending Hearings. Attending/Taking/Defending Depositions. Drafting Motions and Responses to Motions. Reviewing and approving discovery. Attending Trial - Includes attending as a second chair attorney and an opportunity to first chair cases at trial. Draft summaries and reports. Communicate with clients. Travel around the DFW area required. Minimal travel outside the DFW area.
The candidate must have 3-6 years of courtroom experience to handle all aspects of litigation from the initial client interview through trial. Should preferably someone who is anal retentive about the written word, viscerally hates losing, and enjoys negotiating deals. Fear of the phone is a deal breaker. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
