Chicago office of our client seeks patent prosecution attorney with 6+ years of experience. The ideal candidate can prepare and prosecute patent applications, write opinions, and conduct freedom to operate studies relating to a wide range of technical work. Should have technical background. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese. Will preferably have some transferrable business and is admitted to the USPTO and Illinois Bars.
The candidate should have a background in materials science or physics, or a degree in a closely related field. Will be responsible for a baseline docket of patent preparation and prosecution and a practice that will include extensive involvement in risk assessment analyses and opinion work.
