Ft. Lauderdale office is seeking a patent prosecution attorney with 3-5 years of experience from an AmLaw 100 firm. A technical background is required, preferably from one of the following areas: mechanical engineering, optical physics, materials science, electrical engineering, system integration, software, cloud computing, biomedical engineering, etc. Candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and have experience with patent application preparation and/or prosecution.
The candidate must have 0-3 years of experience including graduates pending Bar results. Engineering, science background or computer/software degree is required for patent bar eligibility. Ideally registered with the USPTO. Bilingual is a plus. Must be organized and a self-starter with excellent research and writing skills.
