Computer Science Associate
The candidate must have 2+ years of law firm experience including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, client counseling and preparing opinions. Should preferably have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and be registered with the USPTO.
The candidate should have 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. Greatly prefer Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree. Must have a registration number with the USPTO.
The candidate should preferably have have a strong computer science or electrical engineering background, 2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution and/or 5+ years of software industry experience. Patent counseling, licensing and/or trademark experience is beneficial. Oregon State Bar or Washington State Bar admission preferred. Must be USPTO registered.
The candidate must have 3+ years of experience preparing and prosecuting US and Foreign patent applications. Must be registered to practice before the USPTO and admitted to the Bar of at least one state Excellent academic credentials. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science is highly preferred.
