Patent Litigation Attorney
Duties: Heavily involved in overall strategizing, briefing, and depositions, as well as trial. Practice has an emphasis on biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, computer software, computer hardware components, computer connectivity and networks, but cases cover a range of technologies for a range of clients.
The candidate must have 1-4 years of experience in patent litigation. Outstanding achievement, including law school record, references, and proven litigation and writing skills. Advanced degree in biology or chemistry preferred. Admission to CA Bar is preferred. Admission to practice before the United States PTO is a plus.
The candidate must have experience in patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and related transactional matters, some litigation experience and a growing book of business. A technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Must be admitted to the USPTO and be a member of the California Bar.
Patent Litigation Associate
The candidate should have degrees in computers, physics, engineering, chemistry, or biology for challenging and interesting practices. Associates with 2-7 years of experience will be considered.
