Dallas office of our client seeks an insurance defense litigation attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will draft and prepare pleadings, motions and briefs. Will formulate legal strategy and conduct legal research. Manage document production and answer discovery. Prepare for and attend depositions. Construction defect experience is a plus. Prior law firm experience is needed. Should be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and be in good standing.
Construction Law Attorney
The candidate will prepare and argue motions, including summary judgment motions in both State and Federal Courts. Will take and defend depositions. Attend and defend and/or prosecute trials and other hearings. Must demonstrate expertise in complex commercial litigation and class actions. Should be able to travel as needed.
Fidelity/Surety and Construction Attorney
The candidate should have 1-3 years of litigation experience. Exceptionally well qualified new graduate is considered. Must have excellent academic credentials, writing ability and references. An insurance coverage or commercial litigation background is preferred. Trial and pre-trial experience is helpful.
The candidate will research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes.
