Graduate Law Clerk
The one-year clerkship term begins in August. Hiring begins in the fall of the preceding year. A typical clerkship involves: Interviewing clients and visiting them in jail; Researching and writing pretrial motions; Providing trial support to attorneys; Litigating motions in court and Working on a variety of cases including misdemeanor, felony and juvenile. Responsibilities: Assist with key public policy operations including multi-state legislative tracking, monitoring hearings and roundtables, and virtual events with stakeholders. Conduct public policy research on a variety of topics including federal and state vehicle codes and insurance. Identify emerging issues impacting the self-driving vehicle industry based on emerging policy debates at the federal and state level.

2021 Summer Law Clerk Program
