Senior Tax Manager, Financial Services (Capital Markets/Partnerships)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager in the Financial Institutions Tax practice, the candidate will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of responsibilities. These include conducting tax research and providing guidance and consultation to clients, identifying and implementing tax planning and tax savings strategies, and collaborating and engaging in large projects. The role also involves managing and fostering existing client tax relationships through client deliverables and a hands-on consultative approach. Additionally, the candidate will mentor and develop interns, staff, and senior staff while promoting a highly interactive team environment. Managing multiple engagements simultaneously is also a key responsibility.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a Masters of Taxation preferred. A CPA, JD, or EA is also required. The position demands a minimum of seven years of experience in public accounting or a corporate/public blend, particularly from a large CPA firm. Previous experience with operational partnerships is required, and previous banking experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent project management and time management skills, and tax research skills are essential. The candidate should be able to grow strong client relationships. While a hybrid work setting is preferred, remote work is also an option.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106, - $267, per year. It is noted that at Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
