Job Title: Operations Support Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge in the law firm's business systems and operations processes.
- Provide first response to "how to" questions related to business systems and processes.
- Offer initial response to technical issues, routing them to the appropriate technical resource for resolution.
- Monitor technical issues to ensure proper escalation, if necessary, and satisfactory resolution.
- Build a knowledge database of operations and technical issues and their satisfactory resolutions.
- Conduct new employee orientation on business systems, operating procedures, and required job skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and make recommendations for improving employee competency and efficiency with business systems and operating procedures.
- Provide training to employees on business systems and operating procedures.
- Offer user-level support on business systems, operating procedures, and job skills.
- Maintain training records on each employee pertaining to business systems and operating procedures.
- Monitor, evaluate, and recommend changes and improvements in business systems and operating procedures.
- Consult with Practice Groups, Practice Group Managers, Managing Partner, and Firm Administrator on improvements in efficiency and performance relative to business systems and operating procedures.
- Create and maintain a Standard Business Operating Procedure manual.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Legal Secretary and/or Paralegal in a litigation practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, Windows-based timekeeping/billing systems, law office operating procedures, online legal support systems, such as Westlaw, iManage, etc.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience developing training plans, maintaining training records, and providing training and user support on business and legal practice applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Windows-based timekeeping/billing systems, and typical business processes in a litigation practice.
Salary Information:
- Salary Range: $60, - $70, per year
