Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary/Paralegal Duties: The candidate will timely typing and transcription for a team of three to four attorneys. Communicate effectively with managing attorneys, clients, and staff. Provide support to a team of attorneys. Answer phone calls, take notes/messages, and redirect phone calls when necessary. Maintain electronic and physical documents of case files within a shared network database. Transcribe dictation into correspondence, legal documents, pleadings, and reports. Maintain and update inventories of contact details, file details, and other relevant case file information. Draft, proofread, and preparation for review documentation, including but not limited to: correspondence, legal documents, legal briefs, pleadings, motions, and discovery, various records, and reports. Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and providing timely reminders. Preparation and organization of physical and electronic case files. Record and store client information. Other support to attorneys includes time entry and billing, scheduling and maintaining calendars, opening and closing files, and other administrative tasks. Prepare subpoenas, subpoena duces tecum, demands, authorizations, and requests for corporate vendors and government agencies. Organization, recordation, payment, and handling of incoming invoices, and bills to clients, vendors, and third-party providers. Arrange service of subpoenas and monitor affidavits of service. Assist with deposition, motion, mediation, and trial preparations. Conduct telephone conversations with clients, adjusters, court, court reporters, and attorneys. Scanning, Faxing, Photocopying, and bates-stamping documents. Other clerical and administrative tasks and duties as requested and/or necessary to assist and prepare a team of attorneys for various litigation needs throughout the life of a case.

Qualifications: The candidate should have excellent communication and typing skills are able to multitask in a fast-paced litigation environment and capable of managing technical office software and equipment. experience in scheduling and drafting notices of subpoenas and depositions is a plus. Experienced in scheduling and drafting notices of depositions and subpoenas. Experienced in drafting legal documents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong typing, spelling, grammar, proofreading, and clerical skills. Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Outstanding time management and typing skills. Adobe Acrobat and other editing software and applications. Working knowledge of PACER. Proficient skills in internet research. Proficient skills in social media platforms. Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
