Job Title: Senior Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
The role of the Senior Paralegal at the law firm involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities that require a high degree of organization and detail orientation. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, which includes assisting attorneys with case preparation from inception through trial. This involves managing case files and drafting essential legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

The Senior Paralegal will coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in the case, ensuring that all parties are informed and prepared for upcoming legal proceedings.
Additionally, the role requires scheduling and preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. The Senior Paralegal is also responsible for preparing and filing legal documents with courts and administrative agencies while maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management systems and databases. Furthermore, the Senior Paralegal will provide guidance and mentorship to junior paralegals and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal within a Personal Injury law firm. A Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certification are preferred, indicating a strong educational foundation and formal training in the field. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of personal injury law, legal procedures, and court filing requirements.
Additionally, the role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in legal research tools, and case management software. The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Salary Information:
The salary for the Senior Paralegal position is between $30 and $45 an hour, reflecting the level of expertise and experience required for the role.
