Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare court-ready state and federal pleadings, motions, and responses to motions for e-filing with state and federal courts in Florida.
- Maintain and organize a high volume of discovery documents.
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a busy legal environment.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for disclosure, requests for admission, and deposition notices.
- Organize large volumes of case-related documents, with the ability to quickly locate and reference specific documents such as trial exhibits, deposition transcripts, key discovery responses, case correspondence, and communications.
- Support assigned attorney defense litigation practice, including phone conferences, meetings, case deadlines, hearing and trial dates, mediations, depositions, scheduling orders, and moving the docket forward.
- Document, organize, and assist with preparation for trials and arbitration hearings.
- Save, file, and organize pleadings, motions, and related e-filed or emailed documents on a daily basis.
- Maintain a daily calendar with the ability to forecast and prioritize relevant deadlines.
- Enter billing time daily in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and a positive attitude with colleagues, clients, co-counsel, and court personnel.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of paralegal litigation experience on the defense side is required.
- Proven knowledge of electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in Florida.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and as part of a team.
- Ability to forecast and calendar court filings and docket deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, prioritize, and implement urgent tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed, self-motivated, and capable of effectively working under tight time constraints.
- Ability to consistently create and deliver quality work products.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro).
- iManage experience is a plus.
- Possession of a Paralegal Certificate is required.
