Are you an experienced New Business Intake Coordinator looking for a new opportunity in the legal industry? Look no further! Polsinelli, PC is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a New Business Intake Coordinator. This is a remote position with flexible hours, offering a competitive salary and the chance to work with a top law firm.

Job Summary:

As the New Business Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the daily workflow of the firm. This includes running conflict checks, assigning client matter numbers, and making necessary adjustments to client matters. Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential in this role, as you will be handling sensitive information. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentor new hires, as well as attorneys and staff, on NBI policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete detailed Conflict of Interest Reports, including internet searches and referencing the NBI Reference Manual
- Assign Client Matter numbers and affiliations
- Notify attorneys of any issues that may arise during the matter opening process
- Maintain all client matter modifications and process Dunn and Bradstreet reports
- Process client matter re-openings, waiting for approval before re-opening
- Maintain client and employee confidentiality
- Train and mentor new hires, staff, and attorneys on NBI policies and procedures
- Work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

- Minimum of two years of NBI/Conflicts experience
- Prior legal industry new business intake/conflicts experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Familiarity with computerized Conflicts/Workflow software
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Ability to compile, review, and communicate conflicts issues based on various information sources
- Strong judgment in determining when assistance is needed in communicating with attorneys and legal assistants

Salary Information:

The budgeted salary range for this position is $55,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
