Join our growing team in Birmingham as a Corporate & Securities Attorney with 5-10 years of experience and excellent academic credentials. In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys and staff to review, draft, and negotiate various corporate and securities documents, as well as support a broad range of regulatory matters. Responsibilities and Practice
As a Corporate & Securities Attorney, you will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various corporate and securities documents, including private placement offering documents, limited liability company agreements, and fund documents
- Assisting with the coordination and execution of successful corporate transactions, such as purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, license agreements, and nondisclosure agreements
- Conducting legal research, analysis, and writing to support the corporate and securities practice group
- Assisting with a wide range of regulatory matters, including securities, tax, aviation, banking, and communications
Position Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
Personal Skills/Attributes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer/client facing skills
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Technical Skills
- Strong legal research skills
- Exposure to aspects of regulatory law preferred
- 5-10 years of legal experience
Other Requirements
- Current membership in the Alabama state bar, or eligibility for membership
